A native of Sarajevo, Bosnia, Dr Adnan Cutuk moved to Carlsbad, California as a teenager. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of California, San Diego, and received his medical doctorate from the George Washington University, Washington DC. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego and his sports medicine/shoulder surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. Following his fellowship training, he spent 5 years as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, MO. In 2015, Dr. Cutuk returned to his native San Diego and joined Sharp Healthcare affiliated private practice. He joined our team at California Orthopaedic Institute in 2019.
