Dr. Adwait Jathal received his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine from Indiana University Medical Center. He received his Fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Jathal is interested in all aspects of digestive health but has a particular interest in colorectal cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and gastrointestinal motility disorders. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
