Dr. Benjamin Choi serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. He has been Board Certified in Urology since 2002. He received his medical degree with Distinction in Research from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his Urology Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical School, Cornell University. He is a board member of the New Product Advisory Board for American Medical Systems, Inc. and he serves as a board member for the Asian Pacific Prostate Society (APPS) and World Korean Urology Congress. He is president of the Association of Korean American Medical Graduates (2011-2013). Dr. Choi is a member of the American Urological Association and the Endourological Society. Dr. Choi was one of the first surgeons to utilize Greenlight laser for treating prostatic obstruction and has had extensive clinical and research experience.
