Brian Lappas

Dr. Brian Lappas grew up in Chapel Hill, NC.  He is a graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.  He then received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina Medical School and his masters of public health degree from the UNC Gillings School of Global Health.  Dr. Lappas completed his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  He then completed his Fellowship at the University of North Carolina, in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and was Chief Fellow in 2020-2021.  He enjoys collaborating with patients to treat all areas of gastroenterology especially inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, motility disorders and all liver disease.
