Dr. Brian Manzi is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist practicing in Livingston and Newark, NJ. He specializes in the treatment of the full range of pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions from newborn to 21 years old.
Dr. Manzi obtained his medical degree at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and his residency training in Otolaryngology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center. Following residency, with a desire for even more training, he completed a fellowship in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts where he was trained by expert pediatric otolaryngologist surgeons from the world-renowned Harvard Medical School.
After completing his fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology, he joined the faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he now serves as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology. He has diverse clinical research and is well published in many prestigious journals. Dr. Manzi is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO).
In addition to managing common Pediatric ENT problems including recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, chronic throat infections, sinus infections, nasal disease, tonsil/adenoid disease, and sleep apnea, Dr. Manzi has advanced training in complex airway surgery using both endoscopic and open techniques. He is experienced in laryngotracheal reconstruction, correction of airway narrowing (glottic/subglottic/tracheal stenosis), and the management of obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Manzi also has extensive training in management of complex head and neck masses, endoscopic sinus surgery, and ear surgery including cochlear implantation. He is a member of the Pediatric Cochlear Implant team at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Manzi is devoted to providing the best possible medical care for all his patients. He works with his patients and their families and explains their options so they can participate in the development of the most effective treatment plan that is best for their situation. Dr. Manzi truly enjoys working with infants, children, and young adults and being instrumental in improving their health.
