Dr. Daniel Welch has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. He graduated from Ashland College in Ashland, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science. He then attained his medical degree from the University of Florida. He received medical degree from the University of Florida, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry. He completed an internship and his residency at the University of Florida as well.
Dr. Welch is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Eye Surgery, American College of Eye Surgeons, Florida Medical Association and Polk County Medical Association.
Dr. Welch has been a resident of Winter Haven for over 20 years. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Welch came to Florida to attend the University of Florida. He is happily married to Marcia Welch and has two sons. Dr. Welch enjoys fishing, tennis and spending time with his three grandchildren. Dr. Welch is also very active in the community along with many charitable organizations.
