With an innate passion for science and profound compassion for others, Dr. Blake recognized her calling for medicine before completing the sixth grade. A bit earlier in Elementary School, she also discovered a passion for singing, particularly classical music.

Dr. Blake grew up in Livingston, New Jersey. She attended Newark Academy, where she focused focused on math, science, and music. On weekends she attended a music conservatory in New York City, studying music theory and history in addition to voice. She headed to the University of Pennsylvania as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar to begin her college career, where she majored in Biological Basis of Behavior and minored in Music.

Dr. Blake earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, during which time she remained committed to becoming an Otolaryngologist. She completed her five years of Otolaryngology residency training at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She authored more than 20 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals throughout medical school and residency.

After her residency, Dr. Blake moved back to New Jersey and went directly into practice at AONJ. She treats adults and children both medically and surgically in all aspects of otolaryngology including sinonasal disease, voice disorders, ear problems, and hearing loss.

Dr. Blake currently resides in Jersey City where she enjoys the beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty. In addition, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as going to Broadway shows in New York City. Also an avid tennis fan, she looks forward to attending the U.S. Open each year.
