Dr. David Vargas is a Board Diplomate in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He attended medical school at the University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed a Pathology Externship and Residency at Danbury Hospital, Yale University, Danbury, Conn. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. He went on to the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship. Dr. Vargas is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
