David Loewy

Dr. David Loewy has more than 30 years of opthalmology experience. He graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Michigan, and completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Loewy completed his Ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and American Board of Eye Surgeons. He is a member of a number of associations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Eye Surgery and the American College of Eye Surgeons.

Dr. Loewy grew up in Southeast Michigan the oldest of three siblings. He currently resides with his wife Debbie in Winter Haven. His two adult children are also pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields. His nonprofessional interests include snow skiing, water skiing, boating, fishing, fitness training and travel. He is an alum and rabid fan of the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!!
