Dr. Schnipper graduated from Middlebury College and Wellesley College before attending Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland and residency at University of Connecticut. Dr. Schnipper completed her fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She is board certified in General Surgery and board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Schnipper is the director of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Newton Wellesley Hospital. In addition, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis, anal and rectal disorder, laparoscopic colon surgeries, and inflammatory bowel disease including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
