Dr. Lederman is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and board certified in sports medicine. Dr. Lederman is an expert in arthroscopic and orthopedic surgery, and sports medicine. He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and completed residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Milwaukee Regional Medical Center. Dr. Lederman took fellowship training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Lederman has been practicing in Phoenix, Arizona, for 17 years and has specialty training in sports medicine, arthroscopic and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Lederman specializes in disorders of the shoulder including advanced techniques for rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability repair, acromioclavicular joint repair and primary and revision shoulder replacement including reversed replacement. Dr. Lederman also specializes in knee arthroscopy and ACL reconstruction.
Dr. Lederman serves as head team physician for the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury and is the Arizona team physician for the Milwaukee Brewers. He is also a consulting physician for Arizona State University and the Phoenix Suns. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Sports Medicine Institute Fellowship Society, Arizona Orthopedic Society, Maricopa County Medical Society and the Western Orthopedic Association.
