Gayle Friedman, M.D. is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has practiced medicine in Rockville, Maryland for 19 years.
She is a fellow of ACOG. She is a long-time Washingtonian, having grown up in Virginia.
Dr. Friedman graduated from the University of Virginia with her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and premed in 1987, and she graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with her medical degree in 1991.
She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1992 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1995.
She finished her training in New York at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then returned to the D.C. area, where she has been in private practice ever since. Dr. Friedman has over 19 years of experience in practicing medicine and hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Friedman specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, and she is affiliated with Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
Dr. Friedman has always been interested in new and advanced therapies for women’s medical care, and has been following the movement toward bio-identical hormone therapy and anti-aging medicine for more than ten years. She has received additional training in the complete endocrine evaluation of women, and is excited about finally having the outlet to explore traditional and adjunctive treatments for her patients.
