Dr. Jonathan Shalot is a skilled foot and ankle surgeon at Foot & Ankle Premier Specialists, with locations across Hoboken, Jersey City, Bayonne, Ridgefield, and Bloomfield, NJ. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hofstra University, earning a B.S. in Health Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry, before obtaining his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Shalot’s residency at Montefiore Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, provided him with extensive experience in forefoot, rearfoot, trauma, and ankle surgeries. His research has focused on anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament (AITFL) repairs for chronic ankle instability. Certified in CPR and with a background in lifeguarding, Dr. Shalot’s interests include sports medicine, foot and ankle biomechanics, and orthotic therapy. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, working out, and swimming.
