Jorge A. Zapatier, M.D., received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Guayaquil in 2003. He then went to Cleveland Clinic where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2010 followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2013.
Dr. Zapatier is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Zapatier is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Zapatier was born in Ecuador and is happily married with three children. He enjoys time with his family and his hobbies include bike riding, watching movies, and playing both board games and video games.
