Dr. Lawrence Alexander is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon who provides advanced spine care to patients suffering with back and neck disorders. His comprehensive orthopedic services included surgical and non-surgical treatment options, and he specializes in minimally invasive surgeries.
Dr. Alexander earned his medical degree from New York University and completed an internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at University of North Carolina Medical Hospitals. He then completed a spine surgery fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where he served as the Chief Administrative Spine Fellow under the tutelage of world-renowned Neurosurgeon Dr. Edward Benzel. Dr. Alexander also is a commissioned officer in the US Navy Medical Reserve Corps.
Originally, from Miami, Dr. Alexander was a champion wrestler in high school. He attended University of North Carolina Greensboro on an athletic scholarship for intercollegiate wrestling.
