Dr. Marie Bailey has dedicated her professional career to the clinical practice of Gastroenterology. She received her undergraduate degree from Chestnut Hill College, and then attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania where she received her M.D. Her internship was performed at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology were completed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Hospital where she won first prize in the Komarov Competition for GI Fellow Research. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Bailey worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at MCP/Hahnemann University until 2003. She treats all gastrointestinal diseases, and has a special interest in women’s gastrointestinal issues. When she’s not working, Dr. Bailey spends time with her family, and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and reading.
