Dr. Donovan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Middlebury College in 1986 and his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1990. He completed his residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals where he was named the Urology Resident of the Year in 1994.
A Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Donovan has been serving the greater Boston community as a private practice urologist since 1995.
Outside of work, Dr. Donovan is an avid fisherman and cyclist and has ridden in the Pan Mass Challenge. He says, “Participating in the PMC is a special way to remember all the patients I have diagnosed and treated for cancer over the years and a great way to contribute to better cancer care in the future.”
