Dr. Michelle Vessely is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where she was elected into the AOA medical honor society. She completed a five year residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. Vessely is a member of the Oregon Medical Association, Oregon Association of Otolaryngologists, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland, and the American Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgery.
Dr. Vessely has practiced in the Portland area since 1994 and she brings an extensive knowledge of facial anatomy to the table to help you evaluate your options for facial rejuvenation. She sees general otolaryngology patients at her Lake Grove ENT location, enjoying the diversity of ages, genders and medical conditions. Dr. Vessely has a passion for medical mission trips and has recently founded Global Medical and Surgical Teams, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and healing around the world. She has traveled extensively on surgical mission trips, most recently to Kenya in October 2019 and to Uganda in January 2020 for cleft lip and palate surgery mission trips.
When not in the office, Dr. Vessely enjoys spending time with her family, travel, watercolor painting, and is involved in international humanitarian medical work, with a special interest in cleft lip and palate repair. She recently earned her MPH (masters in Public Health) through Johns Hopkins.
