Dr. Neal Carlin grew up in the Bergen County area and pursued his medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine before returning to New Jersey to continue his training. Dr. Carlin completed his residency in internal medicine and served as chief medical resident at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson NJ.
After completing his education, Dr. Carlin practiced gastroenterology in Brooklyn, New York and served as a gastroenterology teaching attending physician at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. He has also participated as a committee member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy before returning to his home state of New Jersey, Dr. Carlin remains an active member of the ACG, AGA, and ASGE. Dr. Carlin is currently a staff member of Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ and RWJ Barnabas Rahway Medical Center.
