- Gynecology
Neha Rana, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Urogynecology team. Trained in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Rana treats women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, vaginal cysts, genitourinary and rectovaginal fistulas, urethral diverticulums, pelvic pain, painful bladder syndrome, postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction and a variety of other pelvic floor and gynecologic disorders using conservative, medical, and surgical modalities. Dr. Rana’s expertise includes the use of minimally invasive gynecologic surgical techniques (vaginal, laparoscopic, robot- assisted procedures), which ensure faster recovery times.
Dr. Rana believes in patient-centered care and places a strong emphasis on an individualized collaborative approach in order to optimize management and treatment. She says, “My job as a caregiver for females is to empower women to understand and actively participate in their own health care so they can achieve a healthy quality of life.”
When not caring for her patients, Dr. Rana enjoys traveling, cooking, exploring new cuisines, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
