Dr. DeQuattro is from West Brookfield, Massachusetts. She attended Holy Cross College on a full athletic scholarship, graduating cum laude and selected to Phi Beta Kappa. She was captain of her college basketball team during her senior year.
Dr. DeQuattro received U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship to attend the Brown Dartmouth Program in Medicine. She graduated from Brown Medical School with the Postgraduate Referral Committee’s highest level of distinction. Dr. DeQuattro completed her OB/GYN residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. She then took assignments as an Army Officer and OB/GYN physician that included: community hospital OB/GYN department chief, Brigade Surgeon, and medical center teaching staff member. In 2006, Dr. DeQuattro was the recipient of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and The Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology National Faculty Award for promoting high standards of residency education in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. DeQuattro’s experiences with her Army Officer husband took her to Texas, Georgia, Washington state, and then Maryland, where she joined Capital Women’s Care in 2007. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. DeQuattro’s philosophy of care is to use her experience to work closely with patients to develop a fully informed, individualized and optimal healthcare plan.
