Dr. Derick is the Director of Glaucoma Services at Columbus Ophthalmology Associates. He specializes in glaucoma surgery and small incision cataract surgery. A former glaucoma fellow at Johns Hopkins' Wilmer Eye Institute, Dr. Derick's research has involved new laser and surgical management of glaucoma. In addition to offering standard surgical treatments in glaucoma such as ALT, SLT and microsurgical filtering procedures, Dr. Derick is the first central Ohio surgeon to perform Canaloplasty, a new less invasive glaucoma surgery.
