Dr. Roy Cardoso is a board-certified hand and upper extremity surgeon. He earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of California Davis and his fellowship in hand and upper extremity at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He has lectured internationally and nationally on topics including brachial plexus injuries and injuries of the wrist and elbow. Dr. Cardoso’s areas of interest include surgery of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. He is specifically interested in complex shoulder and elbow reconstruction and peripheral nerve injury including the brachial plexus. Dr. Cardoso is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
