Setu Patel

Originally from India, Dr. Patel moved to the United States when he was twelve years old. He attended high school in Kansas City, then entered a six-year BA/MD program, where he earned his undergraduate and medical degrees. He completed his internship in Indianapolis, Indiana and his residency in Alabama.

Dr. Patel has a heart for missions. As such he has been part of the Kansas City Free Eye Clinic for six years and he served as a fundraising chair to raise money for free eye care for the homeless population. He plans on participating in a non-profit in the future and wants to travel internationally to provide care for underserved populations.

Dr. Patel enjoys travel as well as photography, cooking, and hiking.
