Dr. Furs earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University, graduating with honors in 1985 and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a medical degree in 1990. He trained in Internal Medicine followed by a Chief Medical Residency/Clinical Fellowship in 1994. Dr. Furs completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1997.
