A former Army Medical Officer, Steve Chen, MD, FACP, FACG, is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency and GI fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati. He is a two-time winner of the LGH “Teacher of the Year” award. He also participates regularly in overseas mission service.
