Dr. Thomas Abernathy graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1999. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. in 2005.
Dr. Abernathy is certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is currently a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
