Dr. Warren Butt holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Oberlin College. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve. He served both his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Butt also has a master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacology from Temple University. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Butt’s major interests include early detection of gastrointestinal and pancreatic malignancy, pancreatic and biliary tract disease, inflammatory bowel disease and evaluation of abdominal pain. He has spearheaded the development of endoscopic ultrasound in Delaware.
